Services included: Breakfast, bedroom and bathroom linen, electricity, water, heating and air conditioning. Tidying of room and bathroom linen change every three days while bedroom linen with weekly change.
Services excluded: Daily tidying of room upon request Euro 10.00. Additional linen change additional Euro 10.00 for bathroom, Euro 10.00 for single bed, Euro 15.00 for double bed.

Territory

What to visit

From the “Agriturismo Brattoni /The Brattoni Farmhouse” thanks to its great location you are just minutes away from the sea and other tourist attractions, so the places to see and the possible excursions are numerous.

Towards the coast 15km away is Palau, a small tourist town where every evening you can join the “passeggiata” and admire the colourful market stalls. From here in just 15 minutes you can visit the islands of La Maddalena and Caprera. Santa Teresa di Gallura is 20 km away surrounded by beautiful beaches, from the port here you can get a ferry to Corsica, which takes an hour. The Costa Smeralda is 25 km away for those who love the “dolce vita” with beaches frequented by VIPs, exclusive nightlife and designer brand boutiques.

Inland there is Luogosanto 11km away the town of gracious granite houses and Tempio Pausania dominated by Mount Limbara, over 1000m high, an oasis of cool air just an hour from the beach.

The beaches

In only 10 minutes by car you can reach the splendid beach of Rena Majore which has been the location of a movie set many times and the Porto Liscia beach considered by surfers as one of the best in northern Sardinia. All you have to do is choose, because the crystal clear waters of our coastline will amaze you with their colours. On the road to Santa Teresa di Gallura you can find the beaches of Conca Verde, Valle dell’Erica, La Marmorata, Rena Bianca, Capo Testa, etc. On the road to Palau are the beaches of Porto Pollo, the Isola dei Gabbiani, La Sciumara, Porto Faro, Cala Capra, Le Saline, Barca Bruciata until arriving in Cannigione.


Sites of archelogical interest

The are lots of sites in the area: the “Giants’ Tombs” of Li Lolghi, Coddu Ecchiu and Li Mezzani the last of these is renowned for its healing abilities; the remains of the Tempio di Malchittu; the ruins of the Nuraghe di La Prisciona, etc

Once you get off the boat or airplane, it is easy to reach us:

FROM OLBIA: Follow the directions for Palau for approximately 25 km crossing through the town of Arzachena. At approx. 1 km outside of Arzachena take the left hand turning for Bassacutena and continue straight for 13 km. You will come to a T;junction and here you turn right towards Palau. After only 300m take the left turn signposted as “Innesto 133”. Continue straight for 2 km and then turn right at our yellow signpost “Azienda Agrituristica Brattoni/The Brattoni Farmhouse”.

FROM PALAU: Follow the directions for Santa Teresa di Gallura for 7 km and then turn left at the junction in the direction of Bassacutena. Continue for a further 7 km and take the right hand turn signposted as “Innesto 133”. Continue straight for 2 km and then turn right at our yellow signpost “Azienda Agrituristica Brattoni/The Brattoni Farmhouse”.

FROM SANTA TERESA DI GALLURA: Follow the directions for Palau for .. km and drive through a small town called Porto Pozzo. At approximately 1 km out of town take the right turn in the direction of Bassacutena. Continue on this road for 13 km and then turn left at our yellow signpost “Azienda Agrituristica Brattoni/The Brattoni Farmhouse”.

The Farmhouse

The farmhouse

Built the ancient “stazzu” style typical of the Gallura, the farmhouse lies in 50 hectares of beautiful natural scenery with juniper and oak trees surrounded by granite mountains. The farmhouse is a single building which includes a living/dining room that can accommodate up to twenty people and eight bedrooms.

Accomodation

The rooms are all newly constructed each with an independent entrance. They are very spacious, furnished with taste and decorated in pastel tones. Two rooms have entries with wheelchair access and the rest of the building also allows easy wheelchair access and movement. Double and triple rooms are available and all are equipped with air conditioning and en-suite bathroom with shower.

The living/dining room

This is a spacious communal room where everyone can sit to read, watch TV, play cards and generally spend time on relaxing hobbies which the frenetic city life doesn’t allow space for. Breakfast is self-service, so that our guests can organise their own holiday time at their leisure with no deadlines to be respected. You’ll find a large selection of hot drinks for breakfast: tea, coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte and hot chocolate. And also fruit juices, brioches, biscuits, jam and nutella. Everything is hygienically prepared and wrapped according to European standards.
